Offset or redraw? I explain this to clients almost Offset or redraw? I explain this to clients almost every week. 👇

It's one of the most common questions I get, and it's an easy one to mix up. An offset account sits alongside your loan and reduces the interest you pay. A redraw facility lets you pull back extra repayments you've already made.

They can both save you money — just not the same way, and not for the same person.
Before you refinance, check these 5 things first 👇 Before you refinance, check these 5 things first 👇

Your current rate vs what’s on offer
Exit fees or break costs
How much equity you’ve actually built
Whether your loan structure fits your life now
What you actually want the flexibility for

Most people skip number 5. It’s the one that changes everything — refinancing isn’t just about the numbers, it’s about what you want your money to do for you next.

Comment REFI CHECKLIST and I’ll send you the full version. Or skip ahead — a Clarity Call covers all five in 20 minutes. Link in bio.
7 things we did as soon as we got the keys to our 7 things we did as soon as we got the keys to our new home! 🏡

1️⃣ Switched to bi-weekly repayments: By paying half your monthly mortgage every two weeks. You’ll sneak in an extra payment each year and chip away at your loan faster!
2️⃣ Annual insurance check: We set a yearly reminder to shop around for better deals on home insurance. Loyalty doesn’t always pay, but a good comparison does!
3️⃣ Refinance check-in: Do you have a fixed rate? Or you’re always focused on having the better deal? Make sure you set a yearly reminder to check out the latest interest rates and see if refinancing could save you money.
4️⃣ Change the locks and toilet seats: Because, well… let’s leave the previous owners’ germs in the past. 🔑🚽
5️⃣ Replace smoke detector batteries: Safety first, friends. And while you’re at it, double-check your detectors are in good working order.
6️⃣ Filter refresh: If you’ve got air conditioning, replace those filters! Trust me, fresh air is worth it.
7️⃣ Utility bill audit: Compare energy providers to make sure you’re getting fair pricing. You’d be surprised how much you could save just by switching plans!

🏠 Pro tip: If it’s an investment property, print and save your property inspection report for easy reference.

Your first few weeks as a homeowner (or landlord) set the tone for smooth sailing ahead. Tick these tasks off your list, and you’ll be well on your way to happy and hassle-free homeownership.

She thought refinancing would cost her. It did the She thought refinancing would cost her. It did the opposite. 👇

This is one of the biggest myths I come across — the idea that refinancing means fees, paperwork, and starting from scratch. For a lot of women, that assumption alone stops them from ever looking into it.

But most of the time, refinancing isn't about cost. It's about finding money or flexibility that's already sitting in your loan, unused.

Comment REFINANCE and I'll send you the first thing to check. Or if you'd rather talk it through properly, a Clarity Call is the place to start — link in bio.
